FLORIMONTE

BRUT MILLESIMATO SPARKLING WINE

This sparkling wine is the identifying product of the company, a wine only ours. Produced with Glera grapes and local biotypes, this Spumante Millesimato deviates from the Prosecco production disciplinary because it was our intention to have more freedom when creating the cuvée.
Consumed at a cool temperature, around 6-7 ° C, to release aromas, it is perfect to accompany delicate fish-based dishes, aperitifs and appetizers! Sparkling wine with a characteristic taste, it has a straw yellow color and its bouquet is typically fruity with hints of golden apple. On the palate it is harmonious, savory and aromatic with hints of fruit.

GALATEO FLORIMONTE
A bit of history

Giovanni Della Casa (1503-1556) better known as Monsignor Della Casa, of Florentine origins, was an Italian Catholic scholar, writer and archbishop, best known as the author of the manual of fine manners "Galateo overo de 'costumes" Already known for his worldly life both in Rome and in Venice never received the cardinal's purple and with the death of his patron Alessandro Farnese fell into disgrace. He retired to the Abbey of Sant'Eustachio, a Benedictine monastery on the slopes of Montello, in the municipality of Nervesa della Battaglia, where he probably wrote the famous "Galateo" so called because it was dedicated to Monsignor Galeazzo Florimonte (1484-1565), in Latin Galatheus Florimonte, Italian bishop, fine humanist, man of letters and reformer.
We were inspired by these historical and romantic figures to create a line of sparkling wines of great value, elegant and refined, able to lead you, as a sort of good drinking etiquette, to the discovery of a sensory experience that smells of tradition and passion.
